Description

Job Scheduling Systems are crutial to Clusters. Different Scheduling Systems have different suitable applications. With the cluster scaling up and different requirements from experiments, there are two local clusters in IHEP at present. One is the HTCondor cluster scheduled by HTCondor, the other is the SLURM cluster managed by SLURM. To provide better services, researches are necessary including resource management policy, scheduling algorithms, and supporting systems. To make it more convenient for users, a job test suite named Jasmine is developed. Jasmine can generate customized test job pools based on the configuration file, and a job submitter to submit test jobs to the target cluster. Jasmine has been used for research and production purpose, which is proved to be convenient and powerful.
