2025年 NSTCCore 高效能計算服務第三場教育訓練工作坊

2025 年度第三場 「高效能科學計算工作坊」 將在 10 月 15 日（三） 於 國立清華大學（新竹） 舉行。本工作坊由 國科會高效能核心計算服務計畫 支持，並由 中央研究院物理研究所網格計算中心（ASGC） 執行，特別感謝 國立清華大學物理系 的鼎力協助合辦。

誠摯邀請各大專院校與研究機構，具 科學計算與大數據分析需求 的團隊踴躍參加。

活動目的

  • 協助研究團隊便利使用 NSTCCore 核心計算服務
  • 邀請具豐富經驗的團隊分享應用案例
  • 促進跨領域討論與合作交流

  • 基礎實作訓練
    。SLURM 與 DiCOSApp 計算服務操作（Batch 模式與 SaaS 模式）
    。資料儲存服務與操作示範

注意事項

  • 當天是否提供線上參與、實作課程仍待確認。報名時可先選擇「實體參與」或「線上參與（視場地條件而定）」。若確認開放線上參與，連結將於活動前寄送至報名者信箱。
  • 若當天提供現場實作，測試帳號將於會前寄送至報名者信箱，或於現場提供與會者使用。測試帳號有效期限為 7 天。
  • 參加實作訓練之與會者需自備筆記型電腦，並預先安裝 PuTTY 或其他終端機軟體。
  • 為響應一次用產品減量，鼓勵所有實體與會者自備環保杯與環保餐具。

The 3rd User Training Workshop for NSTCCore Computing Service 2025

The third NSTCCore High-Performance Computing (HPC) User Training Workshop of 2025 will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu. This workshop is supported by the NSTC Core HPC Service Project and organized by the Academia Sinica Grid Computing Centre (ASGC), with strong collaboration from the Department of Physics at NTHU.

We sincerely invite research teams from universities and research institutes with needs in scientific computing and big data analysis to actively participate in this event.

Workshop Objectives

  • Facilitate effective use of the NSTCCore HPC services
  • Share user case studies and application experiences from research teams
  • Promote cross-disciplinary discussion and collaboration

  • Hands-on Training
    。Practical introduction to SLURM & DiCOSApp (Batch and SaaS modes)
    。Data storage services and transfer demonstrations

Notes

  • The availability of hands-on training and online participation is still being confirmed. You may register for either “In-Person Participation” or “Remote Participation (subject to venue conditions).” If remote participation becomes available, we will send the access link to your registered email.
  • If a hands-on session is provided, test accounts will be distributed to participants either via email prior to the event or on-site during the workshop. Each test account will remain valid for 7 days.
  • Participants joining the hands-on training are required to bring their own laptops with PuTTY or another terminal software pre-installed.
  • To support our efforts in reducing waste, all in-person attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups and cutlery.
