高效能科學計算暨高能物理使用群教育訓練工作坊 2023

高效能科學計算服務將於 2023 年 11/15 (三)舉辦設施服務使用者訓練工作坊，誠摯邀請各大專院校及研究機構參加。
國科會高效能核心計算服務計畫，在國科會支持下，交由中研院物理所高能物理與科學計算技術中心 (ASGC) 執行，提供本「高效能科學計算服務」，宗旨在提供高效能、高可擴充性與穩定的大數據分析環境、與安全儲存備份的科學計算環境，並建立科學計算系統、技術與服務研發能量，培育人才。
本工作坊上午場將說明此服務所提供的計算資源與服務內容，同時增進對各大專院校及研究機構計算需求的了解。此外，工作坊亦提供實作訓練，協助使用者操作利用此服務之計算資源。
下午場將針對高能物理使用者計算需求，介紹Taiwan Instrumentation and Detector Consortium (TIDC)所提供的計算服務，以及高能物理應用軟體的使用經驗分享。
時間：2023 年 11 月 15 日 9:00AM~16:00PM
地點：國立台灣大學 天文數學館 Room 812
- 參加實作訓練的學員，需自備筆電，並安裝Putty或其他終端機軟體。

User Training Workshop for NSTCCore & HEP Computing Service 2023

The high-performance computing(HPC) & storage service of Core Facility for Networking Science, Technology and advanced Computing(NSTCCore) is funded by National Science and Technology Council(NSTC) and executed by ASGC. Our goal is to provide scientific computing and big data analysis services with production quality, performance, scalability, reproducibility and data safety.
In the morning session, we will introduce the computing & storage resources, services, access and collaboration model of NSTCCore. We also look forward to the conversation with different research groups and user communities among universities and research institutes in Taiwan. All participants are welcomed to bring up your requirements or questions.
In the afternoon session, we will introduce computing service for Taiwan Instrumentation and Detector Consortium (TIDC) and HEP users will share their experience of applications & computing tasks.
Hands-on session is also arranged in this event.
