Description
Network performance and security are important for HEP experiment data and information exchange. the Software Defined Network(SDN)
gives us a new idea and choice to design and implement a new network model to gurantee or improve the network performance and security. there are two SDN application projects in IHEP have been launched, SDN@WAN is focusing on the quality of HEP data transfer among different computing sites around China with the current available network infrastructure and SDN@SEC is focusing on the network intrusion-detection and protection with SDN architecture.
